Archiving User Chats

How to turn on the Archive feature and where to retrieve archived chats

Part of a healthy platform is data maintenance. Archiving older chats helps speed up the responsiveness of the Chats page, as fewer chats have to be loaded.

On your dashboard go to Settings > Advanced > Archiving

We have an option to automatically archive chats. Our current options are every 1, 5, 10, 30, 100, or 150 days. There is also an option to archive all chats or just web chats. With this turned on, chats will be automatically archived when the chat has been inactive for the specified amount of days.

After a chat has been archived, they can still be viewed in the Chats tab under the Chats filter:
